Pets constantly lose their hair and shed it all over the house. These tiny hairs can be very annoying when they get deep into clothing, diapers, carpets, and furniture. Not just unsightly in appearance, pet hair is actually one of the sources of various types of respiratory allergies. They have a terrible impact on the respiratory system, especially in young children.

Here are some easy methods to remove pet hair from furniture and clothing.

vacuum cleaner

This is the most effective and practical technique. A proper vacuum cleaner can cover and clean a large area. The use of the vacuum cleaner is particularly good for carpets, blinds and large sofas. Many vacuum companies have introduced attachments to help vacuum up pet hair from difficult areas like carpets. You can use two special attachments to treat larger flat surfaces, eg carpets, and then a suction tube in voids and overhanging parts, such as curtains.

Skates or Tape

This is probably the cheapest, simplest and most effective method. It works exceptionally well for removing pet hair from clothing where there is an uneven surface. Simply move the roller back and forth over problem areas until all hairs have been collected. Remember to take off the piece when it is completely covered with hair. Then a new sticky piece will appear that will work again.

A similar technique applies when you use packing tape, masking tape, or masking tape. Wrap your hand with the non-sticky side toward your hand and the sticky side out. Brush your hand over the desired area and pick up the hairs thoroughly. However, the roller and tape method may not work as well for larger pieces of furniture like sofas and rugs. It can be exhausting work if you do it.

lint brush

Have you tried using a lint brush to remove lint from your woolen and knitted jackets? They can also be used to pick up pet hair from your furniture. The key is to pull the brush in only one direction. Don’t move the brush from side to side. Reversing direction will cause hair to be redeposited on clothing. Use a lint brush on small furniture such as a chair and coats are good. However, it is difficult to use in small spaces due to the flat surface of the lint brush. So you have to redo it with a tape or vacuum to work deep in small areas.

With all these methods to clean pet hair, the bottom line is that you can prevent it from falling out. This depends on your training the pets so that they don’t run inside the house and shed hair everywhere. Also regular hair combing helps to reduce hair loss.
