Macallan Folio 6

The Macallan Folio 6 is a tribute to the Chairman adverts of the 1980s, and comes in a book-shaped tin. It is 43% ABV, and is set to be released at Macallan boutiques in Dubai, London Heathrow, and Taiwan Taoyuan airports in the first quarter of 2021. The price of this dram will be around PS250. The tin will come with a booklet and will be packaged in an elegant book-shaped tin box.

The Macallan Folio 6 is the sixth release in the Macallan Archival Series, which pays homage to the brand’s first advertising campaign. This limited-edition dram pays homage to both print and film advertisements, and celebrates the story of Allan Shiach, the brand chairman in 1984. The tin includes an advertisement of Shiach, who narrated the book.

The Macallan Archival Series was launched in 2015, celebrating Macallan’s classic print advertisements from the 1970s to the 1990s.
