You may never understand it without having a vision of it and finding yourself in the boat with the disciples. So here is a short article to show you that Peter walked on water twice.

We all know that in the middle of the night the disciples thought that Jesus was a ghost. Jesus told them to be at peace and then Peter asked Jesus, “If it’s you, Jesus, I too can walk on water.”

Well, Peter got out of the boat and started actually walking on water. But as we all know, he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the size of the waves and began to sink. Now this is where I saw the vision. I will now put the vision in italics.

Peter was about eight feet from the boat. Jesus was about twenty feet from Peter. Now, as a professional fisherman, the boat was much closer to him, if he had turned around and asked for a rope, most likely they could have thrown it at him. But Peter did not look back at men, nor did he trust the logic of men, but he asked for another miracle by asking Jesus for help.

Jesus moved all twenty feet in half a second. He met Peter and lifted him from the waves. He had a little talk with him and then Jesus and Peter walked the eight feet back to the boat ON THE WATER. You see once that Peter walked on the word of Jesus, “Come.”

Then the second time Peter walked hand in hand with the Word. One narrative of the story says that after Peter and Jesus got into the boat, the boat immediately traveled to shore, just as Jesus traveled twenty feet.

Now, this could be called heresy by me since it’s not in the Bible, but when you think about it logically, you’ll find that Jesus didn’t drag Peter back into the boat.
