The Nokia C5 can be explained in the following points. It is a phone based on Symbian S60 3rd edition, the cheapest in its category. It has a very high 3G speed and dual cameras to support this feature. It is a very simple looking phone but it is packed with very high features. Like a 128 Mb RAM that allows you to run almost any application that other phones in its class can run. Things look pretty nice at first glance, because the cell phone comes boxed with all the necessary accessories: stereo headphones, microUSB cable, 2GB microSD expansion card, wall charger, and user guide.

The screen is of QVGA resolution, which has recently become the standard for its category now. All told, image quality is mediocre, and the C5 is useless in direct sunlight, even at maximum brightness, not to mention the screen is nearly unusable when used at an angle.

However, the display is the only disappointing aspect related to the external appearance of the device. All buttons are well made, large enough, have adequate access and provide pronounced feedback. Typing on the Nokia C5 keyboard is as easy as ABC. The microSD slot, well hidden under a small plastic cover, accepts expansion cards up to 16 GB.

The 3.5mm headphone jack, charger, and microUSB ports are located at the top of the device. The battery cover is made of metal and is extremely easy to remove, thanks to the small peg at the bottom. Its metal body is also one of its attractive features, and it is the most striking part of the phone.

The Nokia C5 is an affordable Symbian S60 3rd Edition smartphone, compatible with Ovi Maps 3.0 (with free walk and drive navigation) and Nokia Messaging. The calendar shows you the Facebook status updates of your contacts and you can also easily update your status and share location with Ovi Maps.
