We all have them. They are our friends, our family, and it could even be you.

It’s that annoying person or voice that says over and over again…

“If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”

Excuse my French, but what a load of rubbish!

Do you want to know who says that? Only two types of people accept that phrase:

  1. People who don’t have dreams
  2. People who have dreams, but will never fulfill them.

Here’s some advice when trying to decide who and what to listen to in regards to trying to create an extra income from home or online. You may want to write this down because it will ensure that you will never listen to a “dream killer” who can block your passport to wealth without your knowledge. If the person giving you advice isn’t succeeding or isn’t living their dream life, don’t listen. Why in the world would you ever accept financial advice from someone who was not financially independent?

I used to get it all the time from my family and friends.

“Boy Nick, that looks great, but if it sounds too good to be true…”

Usually they would leave it open like this. I know they always meant well, but the truth is that those telling me this were either broke or nowhere close to achieving my financial or lifestyle dreams. They certainly hadn’t found their own passport to wealth, so why should he be listening to them?

In truth, whether something is “too good to be true” is a question each individual must answer personally.

Think of it this way; if michael jordan (arguably the greatest basketball player to ever play) had told his friends and family in high school that he would be the greatest basketball player of all time, most would have said he would keep dreaming . Or, he would have supported him as a family member or friend, but he had serious doubts. After all, you were cut from his high school basketball team. But he had goals and he worked hard to achieve them.

Those who can open their minds to the possibility of finally achieving success, of finally finding their passport to wealth by connecting to the right home-based business, are in for a good ride. Those who can’t get rid of the stigma, negative thinking, or attitude that it’s all a scam will stick around to continue on the same path.

My whole point is that you’ve heard the statement a thousand times that…”if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. If you accept that, you will never succeed. Those who are most successful in life have bigger dreams than the rest of us to begin with. The other thing to consider is the source of the comment. If those making that comment are extremely successful and living the life of their dreams, listen up. If they’re not, why bother to listen? They are what I call a “dream killer” and will only block your passport to wealth.

If I listened to those who told me it was too good to be true, I would be living my horrible 9 to 5 lifestyle just wishing I could be at the park on a Monday morning with my kids. Turns out, he had bigger dreams and knew what the possibilities were. The result is that I am living the life that I want and that I choose. That freedom is completely indescribable.
