AR Rahman – His music has soul.

Original name Allah-Rakha Rahman is the man who defines music at its best. Whether it’s writing songs, composing, singing, producing or whatever, he is well versed in everything. His bona fide talent has earned him several national and international awards, and mentioning all of his achievements is certainly a tough nut to crack, as the list is really long. When it comes to writing about AR Rahman, even a book can run out of pages. Just listen to any of his songs and you’ll realize that even his heart beats in rhythm.

arijit singh – A voice that compels to listen

He started his career as one of the top six contestants on a reality show Fame Gurukul, Arijit Singh, an Indian singer who today ranks among the leading male voices in Bollywood. After the show, he worked as an assistant with various music directors and then began freelancing. Although he has been singing in Bollywood movies since 2007, it was in 2013 that his talent got the long-awaited and well-deserved fame. His song ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from Ashiqui 2 (a 2013 movie) was probably the one that got him big hit. All you need to do is lend your ears to him once and then you’ll forget everything else except his voice.

shreya ghoshal – Nothing is sweeter than his singing.

She is one of those singers who has been honored with a whole day in her name. Yes, that’s right, Ohio, a state in the United States, celebrates June 26 as ‘Sherya Ghoshal Day’. It was Governor Ted Strickland, who declared this. This is enough to portray the impact of Shreya Ghoshal’s (a Hindu singer) singing on the world. This lovely lady is blessed with one of the sweetest voices, with which she not only sings beautiful and relaxing romantic songs, but also numbers that are full of life. Once you play any of her songs, you won’t be able to resist loving her.

Amit Trivedi – The man with an innovative musical wand

Making music is a creative job and Amit Trivedi is a genuinely creative person. He composed outstanding music in the film Dev D (2009) and won the National Award for Best Music Director. Although it was not his first film in which he worked magic with musical notes, it was certainly the first work that gave him appreciation and fame. Since then, there was no turning back. In 2013 his compositions turned everyone into his fans. Whether it’s ‘SawaarLoon’ from ‘Lootera’ or ‘Bachchan’ from ‘Bombay Talkies’, he knew how to play with music.

Sunidhi Chauhan – Even a woman can have a strong voice.

Awarded the RD Burman Award for Most Promising Newcomer in 2001, Sunidi Chauhan is one of the most versatile singers in the Indian music industry. There’s a kind of power in her voice that takes over the audience. Her voice is impeccable and her style is exceptional. Perhaps, that’s why music directors never have a problem pairing her with any male singer. She knows what a song demands and she shapes herself accordingly. Whether it’s a romantic song like ‘Te Ammo’ from ‘Dum Maro Dum’ or a sizzling number like ‘Bubbly Badmaash’ from ‘Shootout at Wadala’, listeners loved singing along to all kinds of tracks.
