Getting traffic is a critical piece to the success of any online business. Getting additional traffic is something you need to incorporate into your internet marketing strategies. Bonus traffic has a little twist… it’s really traditional list building, with a little integration marketing mixed in. Sound confusing? It is not.
What I love about getting additional traffic is that it’s free, it’s very, very targeted traffic, and if you do it right, it’s traffic that comes from a source of proven buyers. It is really these three reasons that make me say that it should be one of your internet marketing strategies.
I mean come to think of it, who doesn’t want a traffic source that sends a ton of new visitors to their site and not just any new visitor… visitors that are proven to spend money?
So how you do this is with some very basic skills, you don’t have to be a technical genius to program this into your system. Is that how it works:
There are a lot of internet marketers that are giving away free stuff… things like mini courses, e-books, reports… you name it, the list is endless. What you will do is find a vendor with a product or service that is complementary to what they do. You want it to be something that complements what you do, not competes with what you do.
Then you take one of their bonuses…something you’d be giving away for free, and you team up with this person and have them offer it as an unannounced bonus to their buyers. So your bonus could be a sample, an introduction to a full course, or a mini course.
When your partner sells a product, the buyer sees your bonus as an unannounced bonus. This gives you exposure to new people and allows them to try or see the types of products or services you offer.
The benefit to your partner is that they get a bonus that they didn’t have to create…and…you can trade…meaning you’ll do the same for them and offer your bonus to their group of buyers. This is integration marketing. You’re integrating your partners’ offer with your offer, and each of you benefits by reaching customers on each other’s lists that you wouldn’t have had access to before.
Now you can see why I love having integration marketing and additional traffic as one of my internet marketing strategies. It really is beneficial for both partners and it is very simple to put together.
