Fagor forms part of the Mondragón Cooperative Cooperation, which in turn is one of the leading corporations in Spain and one of the largest cooperatives in the world. The company owns other appliance makers such as De-Dietrich. 20 million homes across Europe have an appliance produced by this group of companies. In terms of staff, Fagor forms part of a scheme that employs more than 6,000 people in total. These kinds of figures show that although the brand is little known in the UK, the backing and resources are certainly in place to give the product every chance in this market. We are all skeptics when it comes to new makes and models, but especially when we are faced with a new brand that we have never heard of. What will the neighbors think!? Here we see the fundamentals and background of Fagor electrical appliances.

The product line that was introduced to the GB market five years ago includes all modern categories of embedded and embedded devices.

The strong points that stand out the most are the laundry models, manufactured by Fagor. The integrated washer and washer dryer offer 6 kg loads and 1100 or 1400 spin options. The entry-level integrated washing machine has retailed for under £350, which is a real price point, and comes with the previously rare 5-year warranty.

There is a selection of other Fagor models that offer a 5-year warranty on parts and labor. There are ovens, coffee makers, hobs, range hoods and fridge-freezers that offer this duration of failure safety, available through redemption.

Sharing the same underpinnings as the De-Dietrich sister models, the pyrolytic ovens began to sell well, again due to relatively good value alongside options from Bosch and AEG. This manufacturer was a pioneer in technology in France, and has introduced technological know-how in Fagor after the success with De-Dietrich. The system that ensures cleaner, safer and more economical cooking, allowing the oven to be left to clean itself completely automatically after use. All dirt burns off and can be easily removed with a damp cloth after the cycle has finished.

One of the latest in a long list of innovative Fagor products is the Automatic Cooking system. It consists of the Ceramic Hob plus the Elegance Rapid Pressure Cooker, which can be connected by radio signal. User-selected cooking settings are transmitted between the hob and the cooker. When this process is finished, the appliance turns itself off. This cooking option is also available with Fagor’s silver saucepan, eliminating the need for a pressure cooker.

Far from household appliances, Fagor offers a unique complement for this market: storage columns. These cooking supports are designed to integrate Fagor electrical appliances. They remain unattached to any wall or other surface and can be moved around the room as the cook copes with a change in environment.

The designs of the entire Fagor range are pleasing to the eye, experience in other countries has helped them put their feet on the ground with the product line. Overall, it looks like they are going to grow in the next few years to become a major player, competing at the level of Zanussi, Hotpoint, CDA, Baumatic and Tecnik kitchen appliances.
