The older sister shows her where the bathrooms are while the children dance the conga to the accompanying CD. The song explains what to do, from raising the seat to washing your hands. Each line of the lyrics is illustrated in full color in WM Edwards’ book. The song and book go on to explain that everyone, everywhere uses the potty, from the firefighter to the teacher to mom and dad to even the cat. At the end of the book is an age-appropriate explanation of what happens to our food and why we all have to go. At the end of the CD, a toilet flushes, signaling the end. Just another humorous touch to lighten things up.
This is a fun and different approach to something all parents have to go through… potty training their kids. It is much more entertaining than any other similar book I have seen. Perfect for younger children, parents are sure to be delighted. You can even keep the CD handy to play in the right room of the house at the right time. This is a great tool that I wish was available years ago. A great job!
