Would anyone in their right mind start an internet marketing business without serious thought before jumping off the bridge without a canoe and paddles? Preparation is the number one requirement before doing anything else. You may need additional training, education, and money is also important if you hope to survive the first few months in any business.
Most of us like to make our list. How wonderful it is going to be. We will help you get started with our list and you can add more if you need. Internet marketing will be a wonderful change of pace from almost any job under the scrutiny of a supervisor or boss. Our “office” provided us with the dream job during our brick and mortar days, but now it’s a different game. However, our office is only 45 seconds down the hall, which means we saved about 2 hours of travel time, which is a nice change of pace.
Yes, some supervisors or bosses can be real headaches at the Touche, but … don’t get mad and show your dark side or burn the bridges you need to cross again. Some people call my “office” REC. room that is above the garage, however, flexibility does not mean working all hours of the day or night. Managing your time is key to your success.
You could say this is a huge inconvenience for anyone who likes the standard 8 to 5 offer. Downtown offices don’t appeal to us, but it seems to fit the style of many employees. While driving down the freeway battling speed drivers, 18 wheelers, road rage, and leftover drunks, the internet guys / girls are at home having another cup of beer, reading the morning news, and creating memories.
The truth is … business success is the result of hard work backed by good planning. There are days when we miss the boss telling us what to do. Now, we have to decide on our own whether we are going to earn cash to pay the bills this week or just waste our time.
Who cares if you don’t have to shower or can go to work in your pajamas or nightgown? Even working some days in underwear is just dumb. Get up, dress for a successful day, you’ll feel better, look better, and do your best work even if you’re alone.
The truth is … There are many good avenues for a business owner to travel in search of quality products to market on the Internet to current customers as well as new visitors to their website. Obviously you want to make a profit or you won’t be long in starting any business unless you have other sources of income.
Building a trusting relationship with your customers and serving them with integrity is the first order of business success for every business owner. Nothing more and nothing less. Internet marketing is just another way of doing business and serving your clientele with your best service and products.
