Whether we admit it or not, there is one hobby we all have in common: dreaming! How many have dreamed of winning millions in cash? An expensive car? A house and a lot? A luxurious vacation out of the country? How many have wanted to be famous in their trade? How many have dreamed of living a fairy tale wedding? Everyone is free to dream. So keep dreaming!

Dreaming is in fact our favorite pastime. However, each of us expresses our dreams or life perspectives in different ways. Most songwriters write songs derived from something they’ve always dreamed of. For example, a composer loves this girl for a long time and dreams of being with her. Later, when composing a song for her, the lyrics of the song bring to life the idea of being with the girl he loves.

Like everyone else, I have my own way of keeping my dreams alive. It is through pencil and paper. While different emotions conquer me, writing gives me warmth of comfort. Every time I play with words, I have this magical experience of making impossible things happen.

My love affair with writing began when I was eleven years old. At that time, I wanted to be a detective. Probably because he was definitely influenced by the Nancy Drew novels that he had read. I had written stories that were just about solving crimes, where the characters are four high school friends who were very eager to help those who were in trouble.

When I was in high school, most of my pieces were love stories. My unspoken admiration for this guy was brought to life by the stories I did, where all of them had happy endings, definitely far from reality.

When I was in college, my love of writing never left me. Honestly, that’s the reason I took Mass Communication. My favorite subject is screenwriting for feature films. My final product is a compilation of some of my experiences with subtle twists and things that I always aspire to see happen.

He had also written a story where the main goal is to make a fool of himself. I just had a lot of trouble with this person who did something bad to me. Instead of waging a verbal war against him, he had chosen to put it on paper. I made the character of him as Mr. Bean.

Until now, I carry a diary with me. I also write poems whenever I experience heartaches and disappointments. Indeed, writing takes me to the land of dreams. Who knows, you will be my next topic.
